What Figma sees
Read-only, and nothing changes that.
The frame you picked is rendered once and stored in yeses. Figma is a source for that image, not something the review depends on afterward.
Written back
Nothing is ever posted into your Figma file.
No comment, no edit, no note. A reviewer's feedback lives in yeses, on the image yeses stored, and never touches the file it came from.
Refresh
When the design moves on, one button catches it up.
Refresh re-renders every frame a project took from Figma and replaces only the ones that actually changed. Anything already sent for review keeps its own images, untouched.
Reviewers
Nobody reviewing the work needs to know Figma was involved.
A reviewer's link looks exactly the same whether the frame came from Figma or was dragged in by hand.
There is no Figma link on a reviewer's page, no mention of it, and nothing to sign into. They see the frame at full size, pin a comment to the spot they mean, and approve or request changes, the same as anything else sent through yeses.
You still get the shortcut back the other way: any frame imported from Figma carries an Open this frame in Figma link on your own side, so making a change is one click away.

Does this need a plugin?
No. There is nothing to install in Figma. yeses reads the frames you choose over Figma's API, from the same browser session you are already signed in with.
Is anything ever written back to my Figma file?
No. The connection is read-only. yeses never edits a file, never posts a comment into one, and never changes anything in your Figma account.
Do clients or reviewers see a Figma link?
Never. A reviewer's link looks the same whether the design came from Figma or was dragged in by hand. The image imported into yeses is the record from that point on. How it works in detail.
What happens on a free Figma account?
It still works, but sparingly. Figma limits how often a View or Collaborator seat can read files, roughly a handful of times a month, and refreshing a project can spend most of that at once. A paid Dev or Full seat, which most people editing a Figma file already have, is limited per minute instead and is very unlikely to notice. The full rate-limit explanation.
